Romina Adduci serves as the Telecom Services Director for Latin America with IDC. Ms. Adduci’s areas of expertise include Internet & Broadband Access, Internet Data Center Market & Outsourcing, Domestic & International Data, VoIP, Mobile Markets, VPN, Enterprise & Carrier Equipment, Network Security Solutions, Domestic, Rural and Long Distance Telephony, Managed Services, etc. Romina Adduci has broad experience in the telecommunications market in the region. Prior to joining IDC she acted as Latin America Research Manager in Frost & Sullivan – market research and consulting firm -, where she managed the regional team being responsible for both syndicated and strategic consulting deliverables, business development, strategic planning. In 1998, she participated in a large telecommunications start up for LMDS, being in charge of regulatory compliance, and monitoring a variety of areas within the process of project completion. She has as well worked for a year in a Product Development area in Citibank Argentina, acquiring experience in strategic alliances and financial embedded products for Corporate customers in emerging markets. In 2002 and 2004, she participated as a speaker in ExpoComm, the largest annual telecom conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with her presentations being subsequently published by the Argentine Chamber of IT and Communications. Additionally, she has presented in numerous client events throughout Latin America. In addition, she has been frequently quoted by specialized publications such as Latin America Advisor, Business News Americas, PBI Media, Bloggers, Latin.com, etc. Ms. Adduci holds a BA in Political Science from Buenos Aires University, Argentina, and a MA in Public Management from Saint Andrews University, Argentina.
