As Director of Consumer and Commercial Devices Research at IDC Latin America, Jay is responsible for coordinating IDC's analysis of device research across a dozen countries in the region through quarterly, semiannual, and annual studies and together with his team of analysts provides IDC’s clients with detailed insight via market sizing, competitive analysis, forecasts, and advisory services.
The media values Mr. Gumbiner’s expertise and opinion of the consumer devices market in the Latin America region. He is regularly quoted in the media, including The Wall Street Journal, CNN, América Economía, BBC and Latin Trade Magazine and appears frequently as a guest commentator on television networks such as Bloomberg Latin America.
Technology vendors look to Jay for his insights on the future of the market as well as his confidential opinion on planned strategic initiatives. He speaks frequently at vendor events providing the scenario from which corporate plans are built in Latin America, as well as a frequent presenter at industry conferences.
Prior to joining IDC in 1999, Mr. Gumbiner worked for Fibertel where he was responsible for developing promotional and pricing strategies in Argentina. Prior to Fibertel, he was a Territory Sales Manager for Philip Morris.
He received a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from the University of Washington. Mr. Gumbiner is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese.

Natalie Eisner is responsible for leading custom engagements in Latin America that involve the digital imaging market, including digital cameras, digital camcorders, scanners, projectors, printer supplies, and personal content solutions.
Ms. Eisner is a trusted advisor for her clients who depend on her for her in depth knowledge and analysis of current market trends and future direction of the digital imaging market in the region. She is a sought after keynote presenter at both industry and client events due to her interesting insights and approachable presentation style.
Prior to joining IDC in 1995, Ms. Eisner worked for Sygnis where she led market research projects for IT clients both domestically and in Latin America. Ms. Eisner began her international career as the Latin America Marketing Manager for Bell + Howell.
Ms. Eisner received her Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management - Thunderbird and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is fluent in Spanish.
